Hi, I'm Katie!

After quitting my public school job in 2018 to travel the world full-time, I returned to the US during a global pandemic and found myself miserable, completely broke, and working a sub job while waking up at 5 am daily to teach ESL online.

In June of 2020, I started teaching guitar & ukulele online with Outschool & had 5-figure months my 2nd & 3rd months on the platform.

When will I get access to the course material?

You'll get access to the Online Teacher Accelerator, Growth Strategies, Tech Tutorials, and Application Assistance right away! As our 3 Month Solo Challenge takes place from October-December 2023, new curriculum about going independent will also be released every single week through Dec 17th. As soon as you register, you'll receive an email with your log-in info to log into the portal, which houses all of our courses, links to our calls, the monthly challenges, and more! As long as you remain enrolled in OTA you'll have access.

What topics do we cover in the monthly challenges?

Each monthly challenge is different! In the past we've covered topics such as "Class Listings that Convert", "Successful Summer Camps", "Finding Students without Social Media", "Facebook Marketing" and more. Members can also suggest ideas for future challenges.

What if I haven't been accepted to teach for a platform (like Outschool or Allschool) yet?

That's okay! First of all, we've had members apply after joining OTA and use the Application Assistance course in the OTA portal, which all members gain access to. We are also in the process of adding 2 new modules about getting set up to teach online independently and how to market your own lessons and find your own students (without a platform!), which are releasing weekly from Oct-Dec 2023.

Are there refunds?

No refunds, but if you sign up for the monthly membership, you can cancel your membership before the next pay period so it will not renew the next month. If you sign up for the VIP Tier, you must complete your 3 or 6 month committment before payments conclude. Check out our Refund Policy here.
